How long does it take for celexa to start working? I have been on it for 10 days now. I have been extremely down lately and I'm getting impatient. I want it to start working already.

This reply is kinda late, but I think I have an answer. My doctor told me it takes 2 weeks to "be effective" and 6 weeks to be fully in your system. I've also been on it for 10 days now so I, like you, am just waiting. Hope you are doing well.

hey, i also started taking Celexa about a week ago and am waiting for some results. So dont worry your not alone. My doctor also said about 2-4 weeks for full effect. I hope your doing ok and keep your head up.
