Generic for Abilify (Aripiprazole) is an antipsychotic drug prescribed to treat mental disorders and help to treat severe mood swings as well as hallucinations. Generic for Abilify can cause side effects such as lightheadedness, vomiting, and blurred vision.

Thank You Amy.
My doctor prescribed it, to substitute the Buspar, but I am not sure that I want to stay on it. I think I will finish the sample he gave me and that's it.

I take 5mg Ability to "compliment" my 200mg Lamictal for bipolar disorder. I also take .5 mg Xanax up to 4 times per day, and 10mg Zolpidem each night. Ugh...

I take 2.5 mg of Abilify each evening. It started working for me after about two weeks.
I thought Abilify was for depression. Is it for bipolar?
I guess I don't know as much about my medications as I thought I did.

Hope everyone is having a great New Year so far.

Lynda
