Niacin Therapy?

Post by John61 » Thu May 05, 2011 2:04 pm

I was listening to Dr. Abram Hoffer last night and he has had quite a bit of success putting patients on high doses of Niacin to help with different problems including anxiety and depression. He prescribes about 3000 mg per day, 1000 after each meal.

Has anyone ever heard of this? I know they do this for cholestrol but haven't heard of this for anxiety.

I am takin 3000 of Flush free Niacin, it has helped me with the depression, not so much with the anxiety. I take 1000 mg. 3 times a day, with meals.
