you should talk to your doctor about it. some of the medications that are supposed to help can actually make your anxiety worse, but also it takes 4 to 8 weeks for you to get the full effects from the medication. the medications i tried made my anxiety worse so my doctor took me off of it.

Im new here so I cant help much but my Zoloft when I started in October made my anxiety worse in the beggining. I just had to deal with it and tok the occasional xanax and worked out etc. It took about a month on the dosage my doc wanted (50mg) to not feel like death. And it got better from there on.

Every person is different and responds differently to medications and so on. Personally, I will not take any anti depressants for anxiety because my body always reacted negatively to them. What I'm saying is that the side effects weren't worth it to me. I had way too many adverse reactions. I'm not willing to fix one problem but replace with a ton of others. I'd rather get to the root of the problem & that is why I ordered Luncinda's program. Hopefully, it works for me.

I started off with Wellbutrin for depression and it worked well. Taking away the depression, though, took me right into anxiety a month later which was hidden by the depression. I still take it along with other meds. Last summer I tried getting off all my meds with my doctor's guidence, but even taking away the Wellbutrin was a bad thing. I am hoping the program will help me develop coping skills to get off some/all meds. It is o.k. to be on meds if you need it, even if others disagree.
