As of 3 months ago my Doctor's office told me that ALL users of "controlled substances" MUST come in EVERY month for a new script. HOWEVER... I asked my PHARMACIST what she knows about this.....she said that she has MANY customers on KLONOPIN, and they DO NOT have to visit THEIR Doctor EVERY month!! (apparently she said that only applies to "Class 2" controlled substances....which Klonopin is not.) I WONDER IF MY DOCTOR'S OFFICE EITHER DOES NOT KNOW THEIR STUFF OR IF THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO MAKE EXTRA MONEY THIS WAY??!!?? Please get back to me on this ASAP

I have taken the generic form of Klonepin (Clonazepam) for years (CANNOT wean myself off of it), and my doctors have always refilled it over and over without visits. I'd see a different doctor. I also have to take 300 mg of 5-htp (hydroxytryptophan) every night with it. But I started that as a fibromyalgia patient to help sleep. It helps with pain as well as anxiety. I take only 1 mg of Clonazepam.
