Pexeva anyone?

Hi. I was on paroxetine (generic)20mg for ten years and it worked wonderfully with me. My doctor switched me to Prozac because I want to get pregnant eventually. It was a NIGHTMARE. After a pretty much psychological breakdown, I started back on the paroxetine and had to up it to 30mg. I am still not feeling like I did before all this happened, but a lot better. I still feel depressed and anxious at times and have OCD thoughts. My doctor stated that the generic may not be working for me and is not as good as the brand name. He wrote me a prescription for Pexeva.

Has anyone taken this medication before? What are your thoughts on generic vs brand name?
