Hello all, well, like almost everyone else, I take anti depressants, anti anxiety meds, but the main problem is that my Psychiatrist and myself both diagnosed me with ADD. Being a fulltime student is hard when you can't even pay attension to classes. The adderrol works for college but it kills my anxiety! I've been suffering with anxiety for almost 32 years, as well as depression. My question is, how will eliminating caffiene, and sugar help me when the worst culprite is the adderrol?

Hi Colin,you have a diagnosis similar w/mine. I also suffer from PTSD and recurrent major depression. NOTHING has helped me for the depression, so I do alot of weightlifting exercise to lift me out of the spiral of depression. I was once on adderol w/out improvement. So many medications out there, so many are hit and miss. See your Doc more frequently and tell him what is working or not. When you say adderol kills your anxiety, what do you mean: it increases or eliminates anxiety. If the doc doesn't respond to your satisfaction, find a new doctor. Most hospitals have regular, free, meetings for people with our conditions. It's held by a mental health specialist and it's amazing to hear others' condition's and offer your input wnd simply sharing..check it out, It has helped me. I'm not the only one.
