nautica,
I take Seroquel for anti-depressant which helps me sleep. Be careful with the valium since it is a benzodiazepine drug that can be very addicting.

Hi, My doctor gave me Xannax to sleep at night. Usually works pretty good. Except I dream a lot when I take it. Guess because I'm always so busy in my dreams too. So I feel tried the next morning. But not dizzy.Sometimes I take Ambien CR. Just check with your Doctor till you get what right for you. It's rotten to not be able to sleep without taking something, isn't it? I'll be thinking of you.

Have any of you tried the new sleep-aid called Rozeram (sp?). It's supposed to be non-habit forming because it works on different receptors in the brain.
My psych. gave me some samples, and it worked well during non-stressful times; however, I'm currently taking Ambien CR and I feel like a got a restorative and rested night's sleep (no side effects).
There are also lots of herbal supplements. My siblings have taken tart cherry capsules (they have natural occuring melatonin) and tryptaphan (sp) the sleepy stuff found in turkey.
Wishing you all a good night's rest,

2 mg of valium to help me sleep leaves me very woozy and out of it the next day.
