Stress Center Peer Support

Does anyone know how long it lasts? Is it four hours or eight hours, etc? I've been taking it for a while but I can't figure out what the length of its effectiveness.

around 8-12 hours at theraputic levels. that's if you're taking it daily twice a day. .5mg each time. that's what i've been told and from personal experience it's pretty much on point. it needs to build up to constant level in your blood. but some people take it as needed and it also works that way. i pretty much take .5 in the morning and .25 in the evening. i havae no trouble sleeping at all. don't think i really need it when i'm snoozing.

I just started taking Klonopin three days ago and ever time I take it I get anxious at first. It makes me more nervous. How about you? Sorry I am not sure how long it last. The prescription says 12 hours.I am taking .25 mg. I just want the panic to go away. I am scared to take anymore.

My doctor said it last 6 hours..and i take 2mg 4 times a day..

Medical literature says it lasts about 10 hours with a half life of 16 to 30 some odd hours.

It lasts me a long time but I'm not at a low dose. In fact, I think I'm too sedated during the day and I only take it at bedtime.
