I am 24 years old and have been taking meds for anxiety since I was 18. I was on Lexapro but my insurance stopped covering it and I was switched to Celexa. I have been taking it for almost a year now. Since taking it my sex drive has become almost non-existent, although that could be a side effect from my birth control. I never liked being on meds and would like to eventually wean off. For the past month I have been taking half of my 40 mg dose. My anxiety has been kicking in a bit but I don't want to go back to the full dose. I just ordered Lucinda's program and am excited- I hope that soon I will be able to be off meds!

HI theresa2008. I am new to this program too, and I am starting with session 2. I am going to tell you just one thing, we will make it! I feel so confident right now that I can't wait to finish this session and start the next one and the next one, but I am going to take my time, I am sure you will be there too.

My ex husband was on something and had zero sex drive so our therapist asked his doctor to switch him to Wellbutrin for that reason. You might like to google it and see what you think or ask your doc.

I have had the same experience but have been afraid to change because it helps my depression
so well. I would like to hear from others who have changed from this anti depressant to either another that helped as well without the side affect or someone who was able to let it go. I have been taking the same group of anti-
depressants for 10 years and bottomed out when I tried something else or stopped. I know we are all different, but also surprisingly the same.
