Does anybody experience flu or cold like symptoms after taking an Ativan and when it wears off?I feel fine the first several hours but when it wears off i feel like i have a cold or something. I get a little sore throat, burning eyes, and my hear feels heavy.

I have not experience those symptoms but I know Adivan has the potential for side effects. There are many kinds of this medicine available so talk to your doctor about it and maybe he can suggest a change.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL though because Adivan and all other antianxiety meds are highly addictive little buggers that fall in the class of (benzodiazepines). There are tons of different types on the market.

Hello Holly~ I am not taking Adivan and I have this alot. I am not sure if yours is the Adivan or not. You could talk to the pharmasist or your doc about maybe it being a side effect. Like I was saying I have the sore throat and flu symptoms with mine alot and think maybe it has something to do with the way our breathing changes with the anxiety. It would be interesting to know, if you would let us know what you find out.
