Stress Center Peer Support

Hi everyone! I have been on Effexor XR for about 8 years and it has worked great for me. It's given me my life back and made me feel normal again. I have been taking 150 mg every morning. Now I am about to move from Washington State to Western NY state. Needless to say I am under alot of stress and have been sick to my stomach for the last few weeks. My doctor told me to start taking 75 mg at night in addition to the 150 mg in the morning. It really didn't do much so he now says to take 150 mg in the morning and at night. My question is, listening to the dosage others are taking this seems like alot... I don't think I have ever had anyone tell me they were taking 300 mg per day. Can someone please just reassure me that this is a safe dose?

I was on Effexor for a few years and was taking the maximum dose I guess that was 3 of the 75mg capsules, when they switched from capsules to tablet form it made me sick to my stomach so I no longer take them. Don't know if that helps or not but I think you are o.k.
