I do not know the answer to that, I am sure your doctor will be helpful.
However, may I ask...........has the Lexapro helped? What was your starting dose, and what are you up to now? I have GAD and just started lexapro, 1.5mg, a very small amount.
Thanks.
I wish you the best of luck with your future pregnancy

I take Lex too and it works great for me (GAD & PMDD) I may want another child in the future so I plan to discuss this with my obgyn at my next appt.
As for my starting dose I started at 10mg and have stayed on that dose for 9 months now. It took a few weeks for the SE to subside but totally worth it. I am totally myself now, just much calmer and no anxiety.

I am not sure about Lexapro and pregnancy. I do know that I got pregnant while taking Effexor and was told that I needed to stop that med while pregnant, and I thought that I would not be able to stop that medicine and I did-gradually of course, and had no panic attacks, anxiety, depression etc the ENTIRE pregnancy! (I think my body loves pregnancy!) After the pregnancy, I thought...wow, I will be able to not take any medicine anymore and within the first week after having the baby I was depressed! Panic attacks again! I was back on meds but this time I was placed on Lexapro. I have been on it since then (3 years). Your doctor will let you know if that one is safe during pregnancy.
Congratulations~
