Possible Lorazepam Withdrawal Symptom???

Post by mgillesp88 » Mon Jul 18, 2011 3:34 pm

Hi all,

As of now I have completely been off of lorazepam for about three months. Shortly after my last dose, I started experiencing sesations of vibrating in my arms and legs upon waking from naps or sleep. It feels as if i am sitting on a washing machine. Physically, i am not moving when experiencing these "vibrations". Recently i have started noticing them during the daytime also.

Has anyone ever experienced this after stopping lorazepam?? - any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, this is very common, and go on for a long time if not permanently. Research. Benzos are EXTREMELY difficult to get off of without serious long term side effects. Sorry. I know where you're at. It seems like it never will go away. And according to research, it might not. Hope for the best.

Did you go off Lorazepam gradually or suddenly (cold turkey)?
