I went through the same type of thing except I cut all sugar out of my diet and ate organic. I lost 15lbs and am pretty thin now. When i am having a bad week or couple of days, or even if i get sick my friends and family all say you are loosing too much, or you are starting to look guant. I am not trying but when having anxiety episodes, i feel nauseated and have trouble keeping food down. When people say stuff like that it makes me think I am ill, or there is another reason why I am loosing weight.

I have found another reason for excessive weight loss.....

Ulcerative Colitis. I have had Ulcerative Colitis for 17 years

but was not diagnosed until 2006. Back in 2006 I HAD lost

60 pounds due to mental health issues alone.

But the past three months I have been extremely

CONSTIPATED instead of having the diarrhea. This was

totally the opposite of the symptoms I was previously

experiencing due to the Ulcerative Colitis ! Due to the

constipation (?) I had a loss of appetite. I lost 20 pounds

during the first 7 weeks that I started to have the constipation.

Two of my doctors don't seem concerned about this

weight loss because I am obese and they see it as a good thing.

I know I am better off with the 20 pounds off of my body,

but if a person is going to lose weight it should be done in

a healthy way and that is not how I am losing the weight.

My clothes fit really loose on me now, but I cannot afford

to buy new clothes right now. I am glad about the 20 pound

weight loss, but I was not even TRYING to lose weight.

Well, that is all I have to say about weight loss for now.

Thanks for listening.
