has anyone here read the book or seen the movie?
I love it.It has helped me to focus on the here and now instead of letting my mind drift off to la la land and then I become fearful and my emotions seem to go on a roller coaster..

a young man who is into a lot of parting, and ego at college runs into a incredible old man who works at a service station at night and he teaches
the young guy how to really live life.
It has Nick Nolte as the old guy(called Socrates in the movie),but I forget the young college guy`s name.

Hello Everyone,
I have seen the movie. I think it's a great movie. It shows you to focus more on the present.

I recommend everyone to watch it. Also check out the bonus material as well. It has positive stuff there too.

Hi All-

I read this book twice. Once when I was 18 and once when I was about 31. I also rented the movie last year. Both are awesome and they really do help you to think more about what really matters. It is a great one to read or see - doesn't matter - both have a profound effect. -J
