Hi MargieP, Thanks for the heads up on that other thread, I'll look for it and chime in there too. I'm glad you have had success with the TEA forms also. Isn't it amazing how something so simple can help so much with managing your anxiety and life? Take care:)

This book sounds like just what I need. I just looked it up on amazon and they had one used copy for $45.00 That seems expensive to me for a used book. How much is it new and where can you buy it. I live in Oregon. Thanks.

Chrissy thanks for the reminder. I have not called her back to arrange getting together yet as time flew by this summer but I am going to do that and will report back when it happens. How are you doing? I hope all is well in your life.

JR5,
Don't pay $45.00 for the book. You can order it directly off the web brand new for about $16.00 at www.tao3.com it's a small book. Take care.

Thanks WW. I ended up ordering it and I have been doing the TEA exercise for the past couple of weeks and I am starting to get it, but what has really helped me is the wrist counter exercise. By learning to focus on the things I am accomplishing instead of the things I have not gotten done I feel so much less stressed out.

Good job JR5. The wrist counter is a great exercise and I just recommended it to someone today. I still feel that countering your thoughts in the TEA form is the most important exercise for lasting relief and you can use the wrist counter to help you catch more of your negative thoughts to counter in the TEA form if you are having trouble coming up with thoughts to counter in them. Take care and keep at it and you'll start to feel even more relief. Let me know if you have any questions.

JR5,
You're welcome. I used the wrist counter a lot early on but have not used it a lot since. That said I am glad you are having so much luck with it and hope you are taking my advice and using the TEA forms also. They are still what has helped me the most and part of my daily routine :)
Take care and keep in touch!

Yes I am doing the TEA forms as well as the wrist counter WW. Thanks for your encouragement. I always appreciate you sharing your experience with me.

Nanan,
The TEA form is a thought modifying exercise that helps you learn to think in a less anxiety provoking way. I am finding them quite helpful but by no means an expert on them.
