and A Magnificent Brain at Any Age by Dr. Daniel G. Amen, both deal with anxiety, depression, OCD and ADD. I am reading Change Your Brain right now. It provides a lot of good information about how your brain is involved in these disorders and what can be done to correct it. This includes natural medicines, thought processes and others. Dr. Amen has had shows on Public Television to accompany both of these books. The television programs have been helpful to me. The book I'm reading provides more in-depth, detailed information.

This is an excellent book! I am so happy to see it listed here. It is used in conjunction with brain injury rehabilitation. Thanks for mentioning it. I hope many will find it in their library and read it. :) One huge criticism of the book is that it is very limiting in actual applied helpfulness because most people won't know how to use the techniques. A companion workbook is a must, and one is not available at this time. In a rehab setting, a therapist can outline a step by step guide for homework, but most will not know how, or will not take time, to do this.
I will add a link for review of the book:
