I have been having a difficult time replaying criticism over & over in my head..upon waking and when I go to sleep..these thoughts just keep popping up :roll: What has b een helpful for you? I also count steps while I walk & I am working on that thought as well. Anyone do this? Thanks!

What your experiencing is fairly typical most people call them negative thoughts.....I like to put on the relax cd thats the first thing that helps me to think of different things.
Also, Ill list 5 things that Im gratefull for sometimes Ill go beyond 5 things just to keep my mind thinking....they dont have to be big things can be your home, bed, family, etc.

Playing music with words while you dress or get ready in the morning is good too the mind cant be thinking of two things at one time so while your listening to the words and the story of the song you wont be thinking the bad thoughts that bother you so.

As you see distraction from your thoughts it the best thing.
