Wow, so much variation in professions, yet similar in why we are here!

I, like JenniPatrice, have a degree in School Psych, worked with children 6 years, social sciences research at a University for 5, currently a program director in a school system. My training is not in intensive counseling or long-term therapy, so I hope to get the tools here to help myself.

I'm an ex social worker from Texas turned english teacher in Italy.
"O God, you are my God. Earnestly I seek you;my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is BETTER than life,my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name, I will lift up my hands." Psalms 63

I recently decided to get out of medical transcription after 14 years. Loved the work, but it's a dying industry (jobs going overseas). I just enrolled in classes this weekend to become a professional stock trader.
