Last night I watched the introduction, read the material and listen to the relaxation tape. I really enjoyed the relaxation piece. I am scared because I have never, ever been successful in something like this. Right now I am just fighting exhaustion. I am so tired that it is hard for me to function at work. Saying focused is difficult and I flip from busywork to busywork just to keep occupied. will be doing a sleep study, but not until August. I dont have enough energy to do anything. I know that I just need to do it, but my mind and negative thoughts overrule what i know I just need to do. If I stick with this program will it really get better...so tired of living like this.
Just ended a bad relationship as well. I am feeling heartbroken, used, and abandoned. Need all my energy just to keep from contacting him. Was very depressed before break-up, now just a lot worse. Encouragement anyone?

Welcome, I just recently started the program as well and am on my third week. I did start feeling better by the end of the first week, just keep with it, it is worth it!! I also have a big problem with concentration and keeping focused on one thing, you are not alone!

Hang in there, Cris. You are in the right place.

This is a great investment in your health and you will learn MANY skills to help you from this day forward. Please work the program and keep coming in to check the forums and even go to the chat room.

I started the program for 2 1/2 weeks until I traveled back home, then stopped for almost two months. I came back strong last week and have made a commitment to dedicate myself to this.

Listen to the relaxation CD numerous times. Do the Action Assignments each day and definitely journal - even if a few sentences each day about how you feel.

I am in week 5 now and am feeling SO much better. I did see that it was worth it after week 1 and was even better after week 2. I only stopped because of 3 weeks of travel/family issues followed by another 2 weeks of travel. I always thought of the program, though - so now I am back!
