To Carolyn and othe moderators, have you ever given thought to haveing a special Forum for those of us, say over 65. We in this age group have grown up in a time quite different from the computer, web, fast comunicating age of most of the wonderful guys and gals in this great program. I know the program works for all age groups but age brings on different anxieties and depressions. Just keeping up with the speed of things so we dont appear dumb and realizeing we are slowing down can give us that empty feeling. I had to laugh when I read Less Stress Press and your remembering Brown-Eyed Girl and sha la,la,la,.I grew up when Rock and Roll began 1958. So think about this idea and if it would be helpfull to we who have experienced life for a longer time. Thank you and thank God for StressCenter. I'll be Rockin Round the Clock. Dave Lindeman.

Hi Dave, at this time we aren't creating any more separate forums. Possibly in the future but at this time the one's that are active will remain with no new ones added.

Thank you for the suggestion however, I'll file it with the other ones we have.

Dave - You could try starting your own post topics that would relate to certain age groups. I know what you're saying here because there are most certainly different things that come up that are unique to certain ages. I know that I respond to stress much differently now than when I was younger, and just the fact that we have lived longer can give us a different perspective on things.

Dave, I'm so glad you brought this subject up. I, too, would like to see a special forum for those of us 65 and older. We do have special and unique problems that age brings on. Though I've had anxiety since a very young age, I've overcome most of the problems that are being addressed only to find new, age related, problems replacing them. It's a continuing battle. I'd like to finally win the war!

Not having a spell check will keep us on our toes! lol I have to keep a dictionary on hand now, and I used to be able to phonetically spell anything- even words I had never heard of.
