Hi, To me it doesn't sound strange.
I tend to agree with your thoughts. I just started the program, and I only listened to the CD one time so far. Sure, it worked, but I was also thinking about the potential redundancy of it after several times of use. It made me think too, that anticipation of the next words would begin to fill my head, and I may become "immune" so-to-speak. At that point the CD would be ineffective, and I would wonder, "OK, what now?" At some point, I would probably contact the Center and ask if there are different CD's to use. Also, it seems it may become boring in a sense, to be listening to the same CD over and over again.
Peace, Friend.

Well if you call the centre they do have another relaxation cd you can purchase which is what I did and it is a little bit better b/c it gives you 3 relaxation sessions the first one is the same as you have now the second one is Lucinda doing a totally different relaxation which I have been doing that one and I don't seem to be getting as immuned to it as the original one. Then the third session is with Carolyn it is like the one Lucinda does that you have already but she mixes it up and changes it enough that it seems to help. Anyway I hope this helps I find it is way better than the original one, b/c it just gives you more choices.
Take care and good luck

Go to a local library. You'll likely find relaxation/breathing CD's you can check out and copy if you like. That's how I found material from Dr. Andrew Weil.
