I experience red splotches on my neck and chest when I am anxious...pretty frequently. I have been cautious about what I wear and self conscious all my life and feel like a prisoner in my own skin. Any chance this will ever end? Anyone else get this reaction? Does it come from the adrenaline rush? Clueless on how to end it once and for all!

I have had the same problem for years. I remeber even getting that way as a kid during school presentations etc. It happens even in social situations sometines. I really am uncomfortable about it

My anxiety shows too.
If in deep breathing to help. Also listening or reading humorous material helps lighten the mood.

Yes, I used to get red splotches on my chest whenever I was nervous. And like you, I always took care to cover up. But I can tell you that it did stop, but not until I got a lot older. (I'm 64 now.) But, I also stopped caring about it, and maybe that's what helped it go away. I was once told by a doctor that I had an "overactive sympathetic system". Whatever it was, it did go away. Hope it goes away for you, too.

Thank you for your responses...helps to know I am not alone! I wish I could stop caring about it....cause I do believe it would stop or at least be less intrusive on my life. Any ideas on how to stop the worrying thoughts all the time about it?
