to hopefully eliminate me going to the dr AGAIN.... does anyone have thoughts on if you experience a slight pain on the left side above your heart - can it be a muscle pain and some totally unrelated to the heart - because that is what I think this is - as the feeling I felt was when I moved suddenly.
Any thoughts???

it could be related to anxiety, muscle tension,
or even gas/reflux. But just to be safe you should
go to the Doctor.
Did you have the same pain last time you went to the doctor?

Ellkay, I've had a tight chest feeling so tight that it feels like I can't breathe and muscle soreness to go along with it, sometimes it feels like it starts at the top of my rib under my chest all the way through the back, mine seems to be related to anxiety and muscle tension as DebDeb said, I've been to hospitals and doctors and they couldn't find anything except that I was having anxiety attacks..but just to make yourself feel better you could have it checked out..alot of time I have tension up through my neck too..but the chest tightness is scary, because then when you're heart is beating fast from anxiety..I used to always think I was having a heart attack, now I'm used to it and I just try to do my breathing..or something like my back massager or neck massager to try to alleviate the tension..But again to make sure you could check with your doctor, and then if it is muscle tension then you could do exercises or massages to help alleviate the muscle pain.
