Hello!Well for those of you that read my desperatepost about being terrified to go to the DR.I just wanted you to know that I went and that this time it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be!I actually controlled my anxiety pretty well.He said everything looked fine but I'm waiting to hear about mt blood work which is supposed to be today.I'm having anxiety right now while I wait. Also is any of your blood pressure high when you're at the DR.?Mine was.It was 140 but when he took it again it dropped to 132.He said it was because I was worked up.I hope that's why but now I'm worrying about that.Any comfort would be great! Thanks guys!!

Fear Not,
I'm proud of you. I am on session 3 now and am learning to pat myself on the back and give myself praise even for the little things. So pat yourself and give praise for the trip to the doctors. Believe in yourself and the rest will come.

Thank you garnet! You're right I should be focusing on the accomplishment of making myself go spite the fear.I was even there for an hour and that is huge for me being that I am agoraphobic. The praise really goes to God because I couldn't do these things without Him.He's the only one that I trust.Again thank you for being so kind!

My blood pressure used to be very high when I went to the doctor. They would always take it a second time before I left and it always decreased after the appt. was over. They used to call it the white coat syndrome with those that they knew had anxiety over dr. appts. Hey we're special! Congratulations on a successful doctor visit.
