I lived in FL for over 23 years and moved to NC about 3 years ago. I noticed that since I moved to NC my anxiety seems to get worse whenever there is a weather change, whether it is a cold front or just rain.

I know when there is any kind of change, my muscles ache and my sinus problems kick in. For some reason my body takes this as a threat and I get anxiety attachs or get jittery.

Does this happen to anyone else? I know weather affects people in different ways but just wondering what everybody thinks.

It's so weird that you posted this today of all days! My husband and I just returned from The Bahamas were the weather was 75 and sunny for an entire week...then we return to SC where it is cold, dark, and rainy...I swear it seems that we are both on edge!!!

Of course, I think we should just all move to the Bahamas!! Do you think Lucinda would front the bill? :)

That would be great except I would really get panic attacks when a hurricane comes through. We just will have to move there in the winter and live in the Carolinas during the summer.

Totally I am more anxious and depressed when it is not a nice day. When I am ill I also relate these symptoms to panic attack symptoms. You are not alone in this area.
