You know when ur in one of your depressed moods, you know what you need to do to get out of it but in the end its all to much bother? Its easier to stay grumpy and misserable, its almost like its more natural to act grumpy and depressed than happy

Isn't that true. But you know, I am already feeling better talking to everyone and knowing there are others going through the same thing I am.
thanks

Hi NIRELANDGUY.

I feel that it's more mental work feeling anxious and depressed. I use to be anxious all of the time and to let you in on a secret: feeling relaxed feels much better and is worth working for. It was definitely not easy for me feeling bad like I was.

Take care. DeeDee.

Hi

I agree completely with DeeDee however, I am definitely not there. I was thinking the exact same thing today -to see your post was reassuring.. I am having a crappy depressed day but really feel hopeless today- I know negative but like you said today I feel that even putting a tape on is to much work.. I have no solution but just continue to survive the best one can- you are not alone!

Hey! I know what you mean. Sometimes it just seems to feel better to curl up in your bed and sleep, or to ignore your anxiety or bad feelings by keeping buisy. I am still working on building myself esteem up. I think that's where a lot of those bad feelings come from is lack of self confidence. I al also on lexapro now, which has really calmed me down a lot. Hang in there everybody. Don't let those bad feelings drag you down, especially when it feels easier to just stay grumpy.
