Hi. I'm the only one in my family who dosen't drive right now and I got my Learner's Permit. I took the test last wednesday and I failed it. This was my 8th attempt with that test and though I passed it five times, it was harder this time. I feel that there's no 3rd time's a charm and I thought that getting my Learner's Permit was a bad idea. Now I have to wait even longer ti get it and I hate waiting so I might decide to see a Fortune-Teller and ask why this is happening.

I tried the Anxiety and Depression tapes, but they didn't seem to work. What's wrong with me?

Don't worry I have had my learners permit for ten years. I am still trying to learn. Every time I get behind the wheel I get an anxiety attack. You can try using the relaxation tapes more often especially right before you take the test maybe that will help. I feel the same way you that the program is not working for me, but I am chosing to hang in there and see what happens next. I hope you do the same.

Call the StressCenter.com hotline and you can order it there. They used to have a store here online but I don't see it anymore. TC Karen

hi there everyone. i've had my learner's permit for two and a half years. i still haven't finished driver's ed! i very much WANT to learn how to drive, but what i'm really afraid of is the responsibility that comes with driving-from stuff like car insurance and matience to potentially being at fault in an accident. i'm also scared of how OTHER people drive. it's a control issue i know-i want to be able to know that they are all qualified drivers too!
Good luck to everyone-i'm going to keep trying and i encourage all of you to, also!

I did not start driving until I was 24 years old..yes I know! lol Most 16 year olds are so excited about that day to come where they can drive...I was the exact opposite. I was in the military..had 1 son and one on the way and still was not driving. When I was Pregnant with my 2nd son my husband was like you have to start driving! I was very happy taking the bus! lol My husband got me the driving book to study and several months passed and I finally went and took the test, I was sooo nervous. I did pass (barely) but I passed. And slowly but surely I started getting out on the road and driving..baby steps of course. Like you Cole for me it was a control issue..I was afraid of other people on the road driving like maniacs and causing me to be in an accident. I still have my days with driving..if I feel up to it I will drive if I don't I wont. My husband teases me about the mileage on my car lol. He tells me at the rate your going that car will last you the rest of your life lol. Driving is a daily frustration for me, but I do it, and I try the best I can. Good luck to all of you as well. Even though my temps are good until movember, I'm about to just give up driving since gas is high and I may be unable to afford it.
Looks like I'll never go on dates, help my parents out, or live in the suburbs.
I also feel that God is telling me 'no' and he says that I'm not mature enough even though I'm an adult...but I doubt that too. :(

I was going to ask the same question. I know we used to be able to order things on here, but I don't see it any longer. I don't even know what products they offer now. Rob.
