When I close my eyes and attempt to fall asleep I get these bizarre images that pop in my mind. So bizarre it's as if they're like hallucinations. I heard it might be due to the prozac I'm taking. It scares the hell out of me and I usually wake up panicking. These scary thoughts and very bizarre images have led me to be scared of sleeping. Can anyone relate?

anti depressants can cause some strange dreams. My dreams were so lucid when I was taking prozac years ago I wasn't sure if I was awake or asleep. They weren't scary, just very strange.

Im not on any meds and sometimes (when i am very anxious or very tired which for some reason makes me anxious) I'll colse my eyes and something weird would pop. I am not sleeping but weird images would flash. I was scared too. I would also hear things too. like whispers or rings or doors slamming. This has made me thing I am schizophrenic. But I doubt I am. Just anxiety.
