I am working on Session 7 and am finding that I feel so consumed with my what-if-thinking and replacing it that I am not in anyway connected with what is going on around me.

I am driving myself crazy now thinking that I am losing it because all I do is talk to myself in my head - 24 hours. When I don't then I feel worse...

Can anyone relate? Does this ever go away??

It is pretty consuming at first because you are consciously trying to break thinking habits and repetition is what helps do this. After a while you may just start to find that it is becoming more and more automatic and you won't need to be so aware of how to replace these thoughts - the replacement thoughts will just be the normal way of thinking. It takes a lot of repetition and talking to yourself, so don't get discouraged.
