Hi,

I've been through the first three audio CDs several times, and am now starting session 4. I've taken my time and done one session every two to three weeks.

I've noticed that I am more anxious than ever, and I think I know why -- it is because I am addressing the elephant in the room so to speak -- I've been working around my anxiety and ignoring or avoiding those things that make me anxious. Now I'm attempting to attack it head on.

Still, I find this very upsetting. :? I want to get better! I'm having more anxiety doing things that I was able to cope doing before with minimal anxiety, like a simple drive to work. Now I have severe anxiety driving, have to talk to my husband the entire way there, or pull over due to panic attacks etc.

Some advice and help please!! :(

Hang in there its normal to feel an increase in anxiety when taking on new challenges be mindful of your self talk and remember that the panicky feelings will not hurt you

Kidkins...This is part of the recovery process. I think it would be very "abnormal" to begin facing your fears and not become "more" anxious.

Remember, you are actually dealing with
fears and feelings that you never have dealt with before...You are no longer running from these issues in your life, but, are turning around and facing them head-on...This can be quite a challenge, and you will succeed!!!

I am really proud of your accomplishments!!!
Keep up the good work!!!! God Bless
