Hi All:

Short overview. I am living with OCD/Depression/Anxiety, etc. My boyfriend is going away from Thursday to Monday. Now, he and I have both traveled separately many times over the 7+ years we've been together, but not recently.

Anyway, I am a bit anxious about being home alone for five days. Part of me wants to book myself solid for the weekend to avoid being alone. Another part wants to invite friends for sleep overs. And, yet, another part wants to aim for some alone time, to prove I can be alone.

Curious as to what those of your living with some similar ailments do when separated from your main "safe person."

Christian have you been through the program? We are supposed to take those opportunities to face our fears. Try short spurts of absolutely *nothing* and get through any anxiety on your own. I know you can do it.

I have done most of the program, and found it very beneficial. I think I'll plan to do it each day he's gone.
