I am on week 15 and have almost completed the program. I have been using my new skills everyday but tomorrow is going to be HUGE. I am going to my sister's college graduation. I got on the university's website just to see what will be going on and there are 350 people graduating ( the most ever for a fall graduation at this university) talk about ironic. I have already decided to view the time I started this program and its correlation with its completion and her graduation as a blessing. I know my old self would have already bailed after reading that. Time to believe in myself.

UPDATE: Thanks to newrunner, L.E., and SeaRunner for the support. The trip was a great success, along with the people graduating there were about 2000 others there watching. That is the largest crowd that I have been around in about 2 1/2 years. I used everything I have learned and kept a positive attitude even when I was uncomfortable, which wasnt much at all. I glad I was able to attend this present moment.

Have a great time at her/your graduation!

Focus on those 2 most important people and forget about the other 349. They are not looking at you, they are looking at their special people.

We are thrilled for you!! Let us know how your trip goes.

Just keep in mind that there is nothing that is forcing you to stay in your seat or even at the event. If you need to get up and walk around, go ahead. Don't make things worse for yourself by thinking that you "have to" wait through all 350 people. And I'm sure that your sister would understand if you had to leave. The important thing is that you try. It will most likely turn out much better than you're anticipating anyway.

Best of luck to you and stay strong!
