Even though I have no car and a bad job, should I be at least thankful for my Drivers License and having a job?

Absolutely, with this unemployment rate, a job that feeds you and keeps a roof over your head is "a good thing", even if you don't like it. You can always get a better one when the economy picks up.
Hope you have a good day today.

MrCleveland,
I didn't mean to sound flip. After I signed off, I thought you are having a hard time and I am sorry about that. But for us to get better, we have to focus on what we "have" and work toward what we want. Please forgive me if I came off a little too breezy in the last post.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at the StressCenter.com! The wonderful people here have really been a positive force in my life this year and for this I am very grateful. I look forward to a much brighter future because I lost my job and my apartment in 2008. That's the bad news but the good news is I have my health and all of you to help keep my spirits up as I work my way through this particular trial. Blessings, Ship
