I've had a cold for a few days and my head feels really weird. Sometimes I think I might pass out or something. Is it normal for your head to feel weird when u have a cold?

Hello Hall
yes sometimes for me when I have had a cold what makes my head feel wierd is the medicine and the sinus pressure combined. I get that medicine head feeling. But then I feel better in a day or two. I know hubby was getting a cold and he used his saline nasal spray every day and that helped him alot. And lots of rest and fluids. I pray you feel better real soon, and if you get to feeling worse call your Dr and see what they recommend. Maybe they can help you feel even better?
take care

If you don't want to take prescription or OTC cold meds, there are some great herbal teas for colds, and also some good homeopathics at your health food store. I will use them when I'm not feeling like myself. No side effects or drowsiness.

There's a good elderberry syrup that speeds up healing. I think it's called Umcka Cold Care. Zinc Lozenges also speed up healing. Something soothing you may want to try are horehound drops. I used to eat them as a kid all the time but they are meant to soothe sore throats.

If you are dizzy, you could be just needing some much needed sleep. Have some fluid and get in bed, and sleep it out.

You'll be fine.
