It helps when people know what your going through. I'm in session 3 and I want it to be working yesturday. Even though the panic attacks have stopped, I still have the lingering anxiety I have to breathe through. My husband comes home next week from overseas and my nerves from being excited are setting the anxiety into over drive. I keep trying to stay positive but sometimes I feel like the anxiety can overtake the positive. Any suggestions on how to calm my excitability. I think maybe this is a type of anticipatory anxiety that Lucinda talks about.

Hello cilla82, First off, congratulations on your husband coming home! That is wonderful and definately a reason to be excited. I would suggest try to take a walk or some form of exercise to burn up the adrenaline. Also, you could listen to relaxing music to help calm yourself down. Keep up the good work on the breathing - that will help alot as well as the relaxation CD. Try to keep your focus on one day at a time - although I can imagine that is easier said that done! :) Flow with the excitement too as much as possible. Enjoy the moment.
