Has anyone had alot of body aches and pains in your legs, arms, neck, stomach chest? Even dizziness? Like so bad you can't get up out of bed everyday especially in the morning but at night when its bedtime the aches go away?

Is there anything anyone suggests to stop the aches and pains ?...

(trying to get xanax to take so i can take zoloft and get through the side effects easier staying calm from shaking with it)

It started hurting yesterday and today after a week and a half of taking Prilosec but im not sure if that can cause it.

Until then i don't know what to do.. or if i wll get the xanax. Does the xanax help alot for you with the aches and pains?

How do you know if its anxiety or high blood pressure?

And can anxity cause muscle spasms like twitching or shaking a little? even if your not panicy and just stressed out and your nerves twitch and feel uneasy?

(sorry for too many questions..)

Hi dear lostgirl :) :) :)
I am sooooo sorry that you are going through soooo much!!! Those aches and pains could be from the "flu" or something!!! I have gotten many aches and pains in my lifetime, but they are usually due to "flu symptoms"...

When I get these aches and pains, I drink pure caffeine coffee and take a couple of Tylenol, but, you may not like coffee...This helps me tremendously, but, I do have to take them together!!!

I am wondering when these aches and pains began...Was it after you began a new medication??? If so, then the medication could be causing it...I don't really know!!!

I have never heard of anyone having aches and pains from high blood pressure or from taking Prilosec...Sorry!!!

The dizziness, twitching, muscle spasms and shaking sure does sound like anxiety to me!!!

Stress can cause soooooo many symptoms!!! I truly feel like most of the symptoms you described are caused by stress, which in turn leads to anxiety!!! That twitching of the nerves sounds sooooo familar to me, as does all of the symptoms you have described above!!!

I pray that you can get your anxiety level down very soon!!! I will be praying for you!!! God Bless you lostgirl...Much Love is Being sent your way...

Lost girl, I'd look into diet. When your body processes food, especially cooked, refined and processed foods, it takes a ton of energy. All the energy assimilating those foods is being robbed from keeping your body in good shape. If you are eating a lot of junk - refined sugar, refined foods, meat, flour and bread products, stimulants such as caffeine - it's totally zapping your energy, plus weakens your body leaving you achy.

I'd suggest getting on fruits and veggies, all you can eat or care for, for a good week or two to clean out. Stay away from fats, especially oils and excitotoxins such as salts and seasonings. Just keep it simple. You may have some initial detox, headaches and other pains for a day or two, but by the end of the week you will feel awesome. Move your body a little, a simple walk, or running in place at home, or following a work-out video, you need to get your blood flowing through your body to get that healing.

Pork is very hard on the body. If you want your aches and pains to heal, I wouldn't recommend eating it.

Try to remember that there is nothing to be afraid of. We all experience pain. It's our body's way of saying "something is wrong and do something about it" so getting scared will not stop it, but taking action will. If it's the pain meds, switch to something else, or call a pharmacist and ask if what you are experiencing is a side effect.

God created our bodies to run perfectly under optimal conditions; anxiety, fear, poor diet, lack of movement, lack of sleep, lack of sun, and meds are not conducive to optimal conditions. Get rid of the trigger and the pain will resolve itself.

If it's anxiety, take steps to alleviate it.

If it's diet, change it.

If it's meds, talk to your doctor or the pharmacist.

The point is, take action. I know what it's like to be confused and scared, but I also know it doesn't help my situation.

If you want to stop the pain and fear, you have to take steps to stop it.

We are here for you, but we can't get rid of your pain and fear, you have to do it yourself.

We can pray for you and support you and give you suggestions, but ultimately you need to take control.

A slave is in bondage to his master's will, but an agoraphobic is in bondage to himself. Nobody can free him, but himself.

If it is any kind of medicine that the doctor perscribed she wouldn't change it and force me to take it no matter how bad the side effects are or how much it made me sick that time i took antibiotics and it tore my stomach up she told me that if i didn't take it she wouldn't see me in again.

And its hard to find other doctors being in a small town. I wish this doctor wasn't so mean to me. Then she tells me that i have anxiety and need medicine and when i ask for xanax she tells me i can't have it.
And when i was shaking scared in the doctors office afraid of what she will say since i don't trust her she looked at me and told me i wasn't shaking and that its not my anxiety.

If what you say is true, you should draft a letter to the Medical Board about it. If you are having real side effects to the meds, any pharmacist would tell you to stop taking it. I wouldn't continue any meds that gave me bad side-effects, in fact I've stopped meds myself, I don't need permission from the doctor to do it.

I'm not telling you to do anything either way of course, but you have to be in control of your body, and if you are clear minded about what's going on, you have to make your own decisions based on your own better judgement.

But it is one thing that by taking the meds you are saving your life. If that is the case you have to be careful about going off it. If it's not a life-or-death situation and you can handle yourself off your meds and your doctor isn't addressing the problem of severe side-effects from your meds, you should see another doctor or get a second opinion, at the very least.

It may be a small town, but I doubt she's the only doctor in town. She's getting paid to see you, and she has no business being mean to you. There may be a reason she's not giving you the meds you want but there should be no reason that she's forcing you to take meds that cause severe side-effects, that would be considered malpractice.

P.S. I would also be careful about posting her name on this site - you don't want to get involved in a slander suit, you have enough anxiety on your plate!
