Hi rmac. Firstly WOW. Going cold turkey is tuff. Let me tell you something. If you can go through that, you can definately conquer your anxiety/depression.
A quick overview of me, I had anxiety panic problems since 2001. Went off medication twice which helped during the time but does not cure. ! I got to the point where I was diagnosed with severe depression as well as anxiety/panic attacks.
I received the tapes last year and was definately on the road to recovery a month after. My advice..
1. Follow the tapes
2. Understand why you get anxiety / depression
3. Catch yourself thinking "what if" thoughts or negative thoughts (REALLY IMPORTANT) and replace the "what if" thoughts to "so what if" and relize that what you are worried about has NO immediate danger to you ..
4. Understand the attached file.. It is what YOU do and think that will prevent an uncomfortable situation even worse.
When you get to BOX 3, you have to train your thoughts to skip boxes 4 and 5 and go straight to 6.
