Does anyone have difficulty when it comes to containing their feelings with their spouse or partner? It's an awful thing when you can't. I guess it takes quite a bit of support. Any advice how to limit stress on the partner?

Can you find one or two other people to talk with when you need to? We do tend to wear people out.

Often talking about our anxiety too much makes More anxiety...we focus on it because it is so painful but in recovery we learn to focus on other things.
Some of us found making a daily schedule in half hour increments to be helpful...fill in every 30 minute time slot with something even if it's reading a book.
I suggest limiting the amount of time you talk about anxiety...15 minutes...difficult if we are addicted to reassurance! But, well worth breaking the habit of dependence on others and focusing on soothing ourselves.
