I experience anxiety and paniac attacks everyday since october. One of my biggest symptoms is I get very spaced out and I have a huge fear of going blind. It feels like all of a sudden my sight will just go. Does anyone have experience with this?

Hi, Yes I have your eye problem too. Its been getting worse lately as I am quite anxious at the moment. Its like I can see but not take it in, I cant judge things to the sides when it strikes and causes me a lot of problem while driving especially in the dark. Last week I was driving up the motorway in the dark after visiting my sister in hospital ( not good as I have health anxiety so I fear hospitals and my sis just had a brain tumour removed !!!!! )my sight went weird and I had a daddy of a panic attack.

Funny thing though, last week was my birthday ( St Patricks day ) so we spent 4 days in spain. Not a sign of anxiety or vertigo or dizziness all the time we were there!!
It was like being in heaven. Came home and the old anxiety hit like a hammer !!

wow!!!! first off, so sorry to hear about your sister. Also, happy birthday!

Yes, mine is the exact same way. I can see everything but its so hard to take things in, feels like im not really there. And definately my peripheral vision is screwed up to causing me more anxiety and making it worse! It happens at work all the time making it very hard to concentrate and get through my shift. People have said maybe you need glasses, but like you, some days i will be fine! No problems at all. Then out of nowhere it happens and it is so hard for me to overcome it! A few days ago a new symptom has arisen, i get tingling around my right eye, again causing me to freak out and then comes the paniac attack to follow. How do we overcome this?
