Well, I thought that I had this junk beat! I went from feeling like I was going to die for about a year to feeling pretty good for the last 2-3 weeks.....as of yesterday (Thursday) I started feeling extremely anxious again & I believe it is from my tingles. I don't think that anxiety caused my tingling sensations, I think it's the other way around - but I could be wrong (hope I'm wrong and it's really nothing to be concerned about)

These are my symptoms now:
non-stop tingling in my legs
some in my hands & in my face/head
muscle twitching
musles in legs feel weak
my head feels 'spacey'
My vision is weird most of the day
I have a dull/achy headache most of the day - and I never got headaches before

The tingling is not as bad when I walk, but my muscle weakness on the right leg is very bothersome.
I've heard so much about multiple sclerosis (MS) within the past few days that it really scares me that I may have this disease. Not that anyone has even suggested it, but my doc wants me tested by a neurologist to rule it out.
I have a neurologist appointment in 2 weeks on Friday the 29th. I'm not sure what to expect, what to ask, etc.... any ideas from anyone?

Hey TNL, I had dealt with anxiety symptoms for over a year before I found out that it was all from anxiety. I had spacey feelings, my eyes felt weird, like at times they felt like they would do something weird, like go cross, or just weird, hard to explain, of course they never did. I also used to experience numbness in my left arm, left side of my face, headaches, in different areas in my head. muscle twitching in different parts of my body, mainly my face, and my head. I had the feeling that I was just gonna lose my balance and just fall or faint, still get that one at times, but not nearly as bad. I also went to a neurologist, and I told him everything I had been feeling. He just did a small exam on me, like had me follow his finger with my eyes, and squeeze his hands as tight as I could, checked my reflexes, among other things, but nothing extreme. He just put me on Paxil, which I only took for a week, because it made me feel more weird. I'm now on Lexapro, been on it for almost 3mos, and it was prescribed by my psychiatrist. So the neurologist did nothing for me! I later had a CT scan on my brain, and a MRI done, which soothed my soul. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my brain! So, I beleive that the symptoms you are having are just apart of the weird body symptoms from anxiety, nothing more than that. I wish you luck on your visit to the neurologist, hope that you are fine too. Just pray about it, and you will be just fine.

TNL....These all really do sound like anxiety symptoms. I do know that I have experienced all of these in my past. I didn't even think about the MS thing, but, I thought I had more strokes than Carter had liver pills.

I think your negative way of thinking is getting you into trouble...I have been there, and done that!!!
