Has anyone ever had the program coaching. I have stated before that I am having a hard time finishing the program and was wondering if anyone had done the coaching before. It is a lot of money. I was just wanting some other opinions before I committed to it.

I went through the personal coaching last year. I felt that I wasn't really getting anywhere on my own, even though I had faithfully done the work. I think I made it through the 10th or 11th lesson, when I realized that I just wasn't "getting" it. So, after talking to StressCenter.com, I signed up for the personal coaching. It was good and it was thorough, and I felt I had adequate time to address all my particular concerns and needs. I liked my coach, and I just knew that I would not make progress without the personal touch that the coaching provides. Having said this, coaching was not the final answer to my A&D problems. I went through the program again,(on my own), and I still listen to the material on a fairly regular basis. I also have supplemented with other materials, and if you would like to know what I have done, I will send you a detailed personal e-mail. I look at A&D as I do diabetes (which I don't have),which is to say, I deal with it every day. For me, it is a chronic condition which I can keep under control if I do all the things that I should be doing. My A&D have not gone away, but I am better able to deal with them when they arise. Also, I want to add that I believe that my A&D came about mainly as the result of an extremely abusive childhood. I am in therapy (and have been for a while), and as I heal from the childhhood trauma, I see that I am better able to deal with the A&D. So, for me, I was happy that I did the coaching, but I want to emphasize that, again, for me, I had to continue to work the program on a daily basis, and continue to try other resources, too. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Hello-

I did the program coaching and I found that it was not much help to me. Maybe only in the sense that I found that my anxiety was really related to my monthly cycles and the coach poo-pooed that and said that every woman goes thru that and I was using it for a crutch. Those comments galvanized me to search for an answer even harder.

I didn't care for it, and thinking that somehow I was "just not trying" was anxiety provoking in itself when I was trying with all I knew how to.

How does one even get a coach?

I know for me that coach program was excatly what I needed. I started the program many times on my own but could not finish it. I needed something to help work through my severe anxiety/ and panic attacks. They were debilating for me. I was so afraid of doing anything becuase I was so afraid of the panicky feelings.

For me the coaching program was the best money I ever spent. I was assigned a really great coach that i was able to relate to. Every week we'd start a session or review a lesson that I couldn't quite get. I made notes of things that might have happened during the week and we would discuss it. I took detailed notes of our converstaions which I kept and can refer back too frequently when I feel so of my old tendenacies rearing their ugly head.

The coaching program was very expensive but it has helped me tremendously. I had tried so many different things that did not help my anxiety. I did go through the program on my own after finishing with the coach.

I would definitely recommend it. Take care and God Bless.
