uncontrolled weeping or crying? When I start to experience a panic attack, I feel like I am just out of control, unreasonable and I start to cry. I can't stop. I have read all the symptoms of anxiety and this unreasonable crying is not one of them. Does anyone else suffer from this?

It sounds like you have some depression going on. That's a symptom of depression.

Thanks, DeeDee. I do suffer from depression, too, but the weeping only gets out of control when I feel like I am in the middle of a panic attack. I have a goal -- my goal is get off all meds by the end of the year. I take one for depression and one for anxiety. Maybe I will make it.

Hi Dizzy88
I also have this crying thing. It is so embarrasing because I am a 52 year old male. When a panic attack hits I cry like a baby because I am sure I am about to die !!! I dont have any control over it, it just happens !!!

Dizzy88,
I agree, that does sound like symptoms of depression. Also, do you experience PMS? I know that I seem to be more sensitive and emotional during PMS. With depression you can have uncontrollable crying, excessive sleeping, or eating, or the opposite...not much sleep, or not much of an appetite. There are many symptoms of depression. I am not sure if you recently had some event occur in your life, or some type of lifestyle change, or what, but hopefully you will feel better real soon.
:)
