Does anyone stop and start there meds constantly
Hi-
I am a registered pharmacist, here with my official spiel. The meds won't work if you don't take them as prescribed. You need a certain amount of drug in your blood to effect the change that you are trying to make. Stopping and starting makes no sense at all. Better to just save your money and skip it completely, if that is the route you are choosing to take.

I am not a doctor or pharmacist but have some words of wisdom from a friend of mine. For a long time I was consumed by wanting to "get over" my panic disorder and stop my meds. I was talking to my friend about this one day, and how guilty I felt to have to be on meds. She said, if you had diabetes, would you stop taking your medication? She said you have an illness, stop worrying about getting off the meds and start working on getting healthy. That was like the best advice ever. If you have to be on medication, take it and stop beating yourself up about it. If there comes a day in the future where you can be off, great, if not, big deal.
