My blood pressure has been dropping to 90/60 when I meditate. When I do the relaxation cd.

The dr did a complete blood count and said I am fine.

When I get to the dr's office my blood pressure is ok.

Is this due to anxiety as well?

Does blood pressure go down when laying down and or sleeping?

Beth -

Your blood pressure can most certainly be affected by your state of mind and therefore anxiety and, in contrast, relaxation and meditation. If you're up and moving around and then then sit down and do breathing exercises for a few minutes, it's very possible to reduce your blood pressure by ten or twenty points. Just changing positions, like going from standing to laying will change your blood pressure. As for what's too low, you're doctor can answer that better than I. But it sounds like they have already said that it's fine.

Thankyou for your reply. It helped me to move on with the program instead of heading back for more dr visits:)
