The more I'm around my mother, the more I pray that I don't end up like her - - the more I pray that I get better at positive thinking - - the more I pray that I can teach my daughter positive thinking before she looks at the world negatively!

I've noticed my daughter picking up my bad habits - - how easy to do when she's around all the negative people in her life. I'm trying to teach her what I'm learning - - I want to stop the cycle.

Jen - Is there something good you can find about your mother? Just one thing. It will help you to have compassion for her, for yourself and for your daughter. It will help you to heal faster, and you'll be breaking the cycle.
