I am in session 2 and working through my panic attacks. So far I have worked through one successfully by doing the steps, but since ive noticed i get them more often. i dont know if its because i've accepted and given permission thats why they are occuring more.. is this normal? I havnet reached that 10 panic attack which is good but I keep gradually going up and down; i had anxiety and almost attacks 3 times today which is very not normal.

Well I'm only on Day 2 of Week 1, so I'm not one to say, but from what I've heard so far, it might get a little worse in the beginning, but as long as we stick with it, it sounds like it gets better quickly soon after.

I honestly think that the intense awareness of our symptoms and thoughts that is created by focusing on them in the program is what causes it to get worse before getting better. Because here we are facing all of it, but so early on, we have not developed the tools yet, or strongly enough.

It takes 21-28 days at least to change a habit, which means not until after Session 3 or 4 that the new tools would become habit for us.

So hang in there ... stick with it! I'm sure it will get better for you!
