A Dialogue on Anxiety

10 years ago I found the program. I was 18 years old. I had lost my mother five years before that, but the wounds were still fresh. All of my caretakers had lost their bearings at the time of her death, as did I. What was once just a simple life with anxious tendencies had turned into a complete mental breakdown. I shook and cried in my room every night for six months after her death. I have never been the same. I have never felt the same peace that had once known before the panic disorder manifested itself fully. But, there are greater things than just peace. There is, for instance, sanity. The ability to breathe through your difficulties and deny the impulse to run. Clarity of mind is the true feeling that we, as anxiety sufferers, really need. We need compassion, direction, and structure. We are a rare breed.
I will leave it at that.
When I first saw the commercial for the Combatting Stress and Depression Program Program on tv, I salivated a little. Of course, anything that could keep my mind off of my depression is of great significance to me at this point in my life. Imagine if that had been President Lincoln on that couch at two in the morning watching as the groundbreaking information that Lucinda and Dr. Fisher be laid before his eyes like the blueprint to a battle plan that will win any war. The war within the mind. I worked and reworked those exercises. I journaled and tracked my thoughts for years. I have boxes of books filled with my terrible suffering and eventual breakthroughs. This, my friend, is the program that you have before you. Forget about the symptoms and the mind games and do the one thing that you can for it, treat it. I still work the program today. I have added many things to the program from other books I have read over the years, but the principles in the program are sound and tailored for individual use. Same principles. Different people.
**If you enjoyed this, let me know so that I can keep writing on here. I have many entries prepared for this specific purpose. I am a freelance writer as well as a dedicated graduate of the 10 year Combatting Stress and Depression Program Course. Thanks for your support, and seriously people, let's do this!!
