I have suffered from Generalized Anxiety for many years - particularly horrible and most debilatating symptom has always been the Depersonalization/Derealization.
I have been working through this program - but still really stuck in obssesively thinking about reality - researching website/forum after website, throughly convincing myself that this must be some terrible psychological disease.
In one of my many website marathon researches to find a "real" reason I was feeling this way- I came across a wonderful site that has begun to help me tremendously - www.dpmanual.com
It is a downloadable manual (for a small fee of $34.99) from Shaun O'Connor that addresses exactly what DP/DR is - a result of anxiety! Wonderful tips of how to overcome this symptom so that you are able to move on to tackling the anxiety itself.
I have only had the book for about 3 weeks and can already see the difference on how I feel about this symptom and am hopeful (finally) that I will be able to move forward in now actually attacking the ANXIETY as the main issue - not the symptoms.
What to share with all of you that are feeling this same way.
